HOTlanta

Last Friday, we loaded up the Duncan's new minivan and headed off to Atlanta for the weekend. We were really excited to take Emma on her first family vacation (although she won't remember it) and happy we could share this road trip with the Duncan's.

On Saturday we visited the New World of Coca Cola factory. Todd and Nadia were very excited about this because they LOVE Coke. There were several interesting exhibits, including a tasting room with cokes from around the world (Asia, South America, Europe, Africa, and US). At the beginning of the tour we were told to make sure to try the Beverly Coke from Italy, as this was a staff favorite. Well, the joke was on us...it was terrible!!! Emma was a trooper and didn't sleep the entire time we were at the factory (it was just too loud). Although she only had one nap that day, she was a doll at dinner and didn't make a fuss. On Sunday we visited the Georgia Aquarium and met up with the Stelkers. The aquarium is the largest in the US. Emma had a little bit more of a problem on this day because she was so tired from the day before. She did get a nap in at the aquarium, which made getting family pictures difficult. After a long day of walking around we started our long drive home. Both Miss V and Emma were great during our outings and long drives in the car. We had a blast and can't wait to take another trip soon!!!
