Happy 30th Birthday Todd

Yesterday was Todd's 30th birthday. We had a pretty low key day, but on Friday afternoon I surprised Todd with his best friend from High School...Kyle! They were supposed to have a great day at Magic Mountain blowing off some steam on Saturday, but were not able to get there due to the fires. So, after 3 and 1/2 hours of trying to find an alternate route, they gave up, turned around, and headed to Knotts Berry Farm. KBF was having a military appreciation day so they both got in for free...which was good because they hit up all the rides in about 4 hours! That night Todd made is wonderful steaks and ate a poorly decorated (by yours truely) birthday cake. Sunday morning we went out to breakfast and then Todd took Kyle to the airport. Even though they never made it to Magic Mountain, Todd and Kyle had a great weekend catching up (they hadn't seen each other in over a year).

This was the only picture we took the entire weekend. I wish we would have though to take more. Emma just fell in love with Uncle Kyle and was blowing him kisses 5 min after she met him!
